StandWatch exists so no one in the military community faces a money decision uninformed or alone. We stand watch on the numbers, explain the fine print plainly, and put free tools in your hands. One goal: you leave here more confident and more competent with your money than when you arrived.

I've lived this. I've entered my information to check one rate and had my phone ringing before I set it down. I've filled out application after application just to see a real number, and found it worse than what I already had. The information you need is out there; it's buried under fine print, sales pressure, and offers built to look better than they are.
StandWatch hands you the straight version first, before anyone gets your phone number. Learn the topic, know your own numbers, decide for yourself. If nothing out there beats what you already have, the site says so plainly, because it isn't trying to make a sale.

My name is Larry Cannon. I've spent more than twenty years serving in and alongside the military community. I started as an active-duty infantryman and deployed twice.
The infantry teaches you something early that never leaves you: you look out for the people next to you, and nobody walks alone. I've carried that ever since, and it's the standard this site is held to: help people before the crisis, not after. And when the crisis comes anyway, the answer here is open arms and zero judgment. You'll find help, not a lecture.
StandWatch is that idea applied to money: help someone understand the refinance, the renewal, or the savings rate before it costs them. It's independent, built and funded on my own, and no one can pay to change what it tells you. If you ever spot something wrong or out of date, tell me and I'll fix it.
